wondering

Those of you who are homeschoolers out there... have you ever had one of those days, or multiple days where the kids brain seemed to just stop working and well, you wonder why in the world you are doing school at all? BUT you feel like you must persevere and DO school that day? Why do I torture myself? Oh, yes, because I don't want them to feel that they can act this way and just get out of school... Thankfully these days are few and far between.

I think many of our brains must have fell out today. Let's consider the stock market, two of my co-workers got in separate car accidents at the same time (thankfully not hurt), I forgot to put the full trash can out this morning, and I felt like doing absolutely nothing today but sleep and eat ice cream sandwiches. Monday...

In step with my comment above, I accidentally posted under Brian's log in, realized I was doing it, and was too lazy to change it. Monday...

oh yes...we do have days like that. Yesterday was one of them. My girl's brain was off in la la land somewhere and it wasn't found again until around 3 in the afternoon.

My brain seems to be permanently like that lately. I am hoping being 9 mos pregnant has nothing to do with it...otherwise...I shudder to consider the ramifications.

Yup, we've been there....I just sweetly tell him it's alright and that we can make the day up on Saturday. With J that usually jumpstarts his battery (well that and the sticker reminder for whatever beloved bribery item is perched on the top shelf for the month).....if neither helps, I usually check his temperature ;o)

Um, I think I just confessed to the threats and bribery method of homeschooling....
